ITF UNBOX Series – Post1

The Leaders of an organisation, who might be the top-level Management, are often far from the work being done at the Floor level and do not see how things are turning out on a daily basis. Decisions that are taken at the level of the top leadership alone are likely to result in focusing on the wrong things.

Francis Galton, the father of modern statistics, suggests a simple solution: ‘Seek the wisdom of the crowd’. Organisation needs to find what the employees think by collecting Employee Feedback Surveys on important questions. This will enable an evidence-based approach to identify the priorities that the organization needs to focus on.
